Molenbergnatie decided to expand its coffee business towards Vietnam, the main Robusta coffee exporting country in the world.

On October 1st, 2001 Molenbergnatie N.V. Antwerp (66%) established a joint-venture with Gemadept(34%), who is one of the major Vietnamese stock listed logistics companies.

MBN-GMD VIETNAM specializes in storage of coffee bought by international traders for export at bonded warehouses in the Song Than and Binh Duong Industrial Zones.

Clients have the possibility to finance their coffee, stored in MBN-GMD VIETNAM’s bonded warehouses, through major international Banks who accept Molenbergnatie's warrants.

Apart from storage, MBN-GMD VIETNAM arranges all handlings, bagging, bulking and shipments.

Because of very strong links with many shipping companies both in SEA/Far East and in Europe, MBN-GMD VIETNAM is able to offer attractive freight rates to its clientele.
