Jan 15, 2010 Molenbergnatie throws its weight behind staff party
If you work hard, you're entitled to let your hair down once in a while! The mood was all set for a terrific MOLENBERGNATIE staff party on 15 January. A Flandria boat took the party-goers over the peaceful waters of the Scheldt to the popular Club Cabane, the trendy party venue on the Antwerp left bank.
The unexpectedly high attendance, and the fact that everybody was determined not to miss a minute of the action, immediately suggested the sense of anticipation and enthusiasm.
The space design in the marquee, the music from the live band DSO Music and the sparkling cava got the party under way in no time. The magnificent view of the city from the upper floor sent shivers down the spine. And after the aperitifs and hors d'oeuvres, and the president's warm welcome, the enthusiastic guests enjoyed an extensive and varied BBQ buffet.
André – wearing a Rudolph hat, glasses and fake teeth – 'presented the awards' after the dessert buffet in his own inimitable way. A touch of cheeky fun followed by the real prize ceremony and the distribution of the Bongo vouchers. Finally Molenbergnatie also proved on the dance floor that they're a close knit team which will put its combined strength – not to say its full weight – behind its clients in 2010!
