Safety & Health (S&H)
Health and safety is the first priority at Molenbergnatie. We want to create a safe work environment wherever we operate, ensuring that our people return home safely, and without injury every day. We strongly believe that all injuries and incidents are preventable.
To show this commitment we have 8 S&H principles in place:
1. People are the most important success factor2. All employees are responsible for working safely and following the rules3. All injuries and incidents can be prevented4. All employees should be adequately trained to work safely5. Management is responsible for all safety programs6. All deficiencies must be corrected promptly7. Safety is a condition of employment8. Environmental focus in Belgium
Molenbergnatie recently undertook several projects to reduces his
environmental footprint. To reduce the energy consumption we have installed
LED-lighting in our warehouses. We have also installed solar panels on our
biggest warehouses.
Our own trucks all comply to the latest EURO 6 standards.
Currently we are busy with the renewal of our forklift fleet, were we will switch from diesel to a ‘greener’ alternative.
Goal is to reduce the use of Green House Gas Emission, water consumption and electrical energy consumption by at least 1% every year.
