It turned out to be a top location to reconnect and strengthen ties with some of our valued customers. On the eve of the triennial European Cocoa Association (ECA) Congress, we hosted a rooftop gathering in Valletta, the capital of the small but vibrant island of Malta.

With the Mediterranean Sea and Valletta’s iconic dome as our backdrop, the setting couldn't have been more inspiring. The ECA Congress brings together key players from across the cocoa world and changes location every edition — with previous events held in Rome and Seville, for example.

This rooftop evening was a new initiative by Molenbergnatie — a different and personal way to engage with our cocoa business partners, especially as our customer base in this segment continues to grow. It was an enjoyable and engaging evening, and we hope to continue building on this momentum in the future, with customer intimacy as a central focus.
