That is why we are beyond excited to announce the commissioning of a new pre-cleaning installation for raw cocoa beans at our facilities in the Port of Antwerp-Bruges. This state-of-the-art equipment efficiently removes impurities like dust, fibres, clusters and stones, before the beans enter the logistics chain. After cleaning, the cocoa beans are either loaded into bulk trucks or packed into big bags, ready for transport or storage. The pre-cleaning process adds significant value for cocoa processors — it means better quality assurance, more efficiency and less waste.
